John J. Bradley III is President of Bingham Strategic Advisors LLC. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and investment banking. His practice areas include M&A advisory services and litigation support.
Mr. Bradley offers the benefits of his in-depth experience to his clients. He brings a unique blend of experiences as a workout banker and internal deal maker. This background and a distinct entrepreneurial instinct allow him to offer insights and creative solutions to a variety of complex and challenging issues. With proven negotiation skills, Mr. Bradley offers creative problem-solving abilities that deliver client solutions for both M&A and litigation support clients. Since joining Bingham, he has worked with clients in a variety of industries including financial services, environmental services, sports, bio-tech, packaged foods and hi-tech manufacturing.
Prior to his leadership role with Bingham Strategic Advisors, Mr. Bradley held senior management positions at BankBoston, including Division Executive for the New England Workout Group and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, responsible for International and Corporate Banking acquisition initiatives.
Mr. Bradley is experienced in cross-border transactions and has led acquisitions in several Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.
- Boston Red Sox – Advised the Jean R. Yawkey Trust on the sale of the Trust’s controlling interest in the Boston Red Sox and the New England Sports Network. Managed the entire sales process including creating the descriptive memorandum and marketing materials, preparation of the data room and management of the diligence process
- Confidential – Advised this food industry client on a potential acquisition
- Design Technology, Corp. – Advised owner on the sale of the business. Worked with client’s outside accountant, coordinated seller side of due diligence and worked with client to negotiate purchase and sale agreement
- Sumitomo Bakelite – Advised this Japanese client on its $150 million purchase of Occidental Chemical’s Durez division, making Sumitomo the world’s largest producer of phenolic resins and compounds. Managed the diligence and valuation process and negotiated purchase and sale agreements
- Sumitomo Bakelite – Advised and negotiated the purchase of Goodrich Corp.’s Engineered Materials Division that makes advanced polymers
- Sumitomo Plastics (subsidiary of Sumitomo Bakelite) – negotiated the liquidation of Sumitomo’s interest in a manufacturing joint venture
- Verrillon – Advised client on its recently completed acquisition of ADC's passive photonic components business unit in Canberra, Australia
